The C8155 network security design meets enterprise IT infrastructure requirements: (1) 802.1x network authentication — connects to your corporate RADIUS server so that unauthorised devices cannot join the company network; (2) full IPsec / HTTPS / SFTP / TLS 1.3 encryption — all print jobs and scanned files are encrypted in transit; (3) SNMPv3 encrypted management — traffic between network administrators monitoring the printer remotely is encrypted; (4) Configuration Watchdog — automatically detects unauthorised changes to firmware configuration, reverts them and notifies the IT administrator; (5) Port Control — administrators can individually enable or disable USB ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other connection ports to prevent data leakage via external devices; and (6) recommended placement — the C8155 should be located on a segregated internal LAN VLAN or behind a firewall rather than exposed directly to the internet. What paper sizes can the C8155 paper trays accept?
Standard Trays 2 and 3 accept A5 to A3 (140 × 182 mm to 297 × 432 mm); Tray 4 (the tandem tray) accepts A4 / Letter only; and Tray 1 (the bypass tray) accepts custom sizes from 89 × 98 mm to 320 × 1,320 mm, including envelopes, labels, heavy card and long/banner sheets. Paper weights are supported from 60 gsm (light paper) to 300 gsm (heavy card). For high-volume A4-only printing, the High Capacity Feeder (3,000 sheets of A4) can be added.
What happens if we need to move offices during the contract?
LSHK provides one free relocation service (Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories), covering: (1) an engineer dismantling, packing and transporting the machine; (2) installation at the new site, reconnection to the network and test printing; and (3) 30 days of free follow-up service after the move. A second and subsequent relocation is charged at the standard service rate (from HK$3,500 each time, depending on the machine configuration). If the paper tray configuration or network settings need to be changed on relocation, the engineer will handle this at the same time.
What is the minimum contract term for the C8155 monthly plan?
The minimum contract term is 12 months, but because the 12-month monthly fee is higher (HK$1,650/month), LSHK generally recommends the 36-month standard plan instead — HK$650 per month, plus the HK$28,000 one-time setup fee, plus a HK$15,000 deposit that is refunded in full at the end of the term. That works out at a total upfront outlay of HK$66,400 over three years, or an effective net cost of approximately HK$178 per month once the deposit is returned. Early termination is permitted under the contract terms, with the deposit refunded on a pro rata basis for unused months, less print charges and service charges already incurred.
